Versace Teatro
A project commissioned by Versace to Franco Maria Ricci for the 2022 Holiday Campaign “Fashionably Late”.
The project celebrates the works of Gianni Versace for the La Scala theatre in Milan, a topic covered in Ricci’s book titled Versace Teatro, part of Luxe, Calme et Volupté,
a major source of references for the development of this visual language.
The graphic language is also informed by Ricci’s covers for his series ‘The Library of Babel’ directed by Jorge Luis Borges (1975-1985) a collection of texts that he regarded as gems of literary fantasy.
