Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a way of life. A discipline that
teaches so much more than just grappling or self-defence.

After being a martial artist and designer for years,
it was about time I merged my two passions together.

Arte Suave is an illustrated book based on the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
The gentle art.

The book explores the form and movement of Jiu-Jitsu through linear illustrations conceptualised durin sparring sessions. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most powerful tools that I possess, so I had to pay homage to the art in the best way I know.
